Fokus and Scope

The Journal Innovation of Education (JIEDU) is a journal publication platform published by the Aksanesia Foundation and aims to develop research in the field of education, with a special emphasis on social studies education, history education, Pancasila and citizenship education, and other social education. JIEDU also provides space for multidisciplinary research, such as elementary school teacher education, guidance counseling, special education, early childhood education, education management, and others that are still in line with social sciences. This journal is committed to publishing innovative, high-quality research that contributes to the development of social education theory, practice, and policy. JIEDU focuses on empirical research, theoretical analysis, and research and development studies that discuss curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and the integration of technology in social education. Contributions are expected from researchers, educators, and students covering research at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels. Articles published in JIEDU will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and will be published starting in 2025 in two editions per year: July and December.

The scope of JIEDU covers research that makes a significant contribution to the field of social education, including the following areas:

  1. Curriculum design and development
  2. Learning strategies, learning models, methods, and pedagogical innovations in education
  3. Teaching materials and e-learning (technology-based media and applications in learning)
  4. Learning evaluation in education
  5. Professional development and the role of teachers/educators
  6. Educational research and development (R&D) in the form of products, models, or the latest innovations

The author who publishes his article on JIEDU agrees to the following conditions:

The author holds the copyright and grants the journal the first publication rights with the work licensed simultaneously under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY License). This license allows authors to use all articles, datasets, graphs, and attachments in data mining applications, search engines, websites, blogs, and other platforms by providing appropriate references. The journal allows authors to hold copyrights without restrictions and will retain publishing rights without restrictions.
