Journal Inovation of Education

The Journal of Innovation of Education (JIEDU) is a scientific publication that highlights research and best practices in educational innovation. This journal is managed and published by Insan Aksara Indonesia (AKSANESIA). Although it is rooted in Indonesia, JIEDU is open to writers and topics from various countries as long as it is relevant to the agenda of renewal and development of educational innovations. JIEDU will begin publishing the first edition in 2026.

Scope and contribution

JIEDU invites manuscripts from various stakeholders: researchers, lecturers, education practitioners, program managers, research managers, and advanced students. Its focus includes, but is not limited to:

• Curriculum and pedagogical innovation,
• Technology for the empowerment of learning communities,
• Social justice-oriented education policies and governance,
• Evaluation of educational programs and social impacts.

Selection and review process

Each manuscript that enters will go through double-blind peer review. The final decision on publication lies with the Editorial Board, taking into account the input of the peer review partners to ensure scientific quality, methodological accuracy, and contribution to the field.

Frequency of publication

Starting in 2025, JIEDU will be published twice a year (semesterly).

Copyright and licensing

• The copyright remains in the hands of the author.
• By submitting the accepted manuscript, the author grants the first publication rights to the journal.
• All works are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Through this license, authors and readers can use, share, adapt, and utilize articles, datasets, graphs, and attachments—including for data mining, search engine indexing, web pages, and blogs—while still including appropriate attribution.
• The journal retains publication rights without restriction, while authors are free to reuse their work in various media as long as they mention the initial publication on JIEDU.
